GAIL KOSOWICH (nee GOTTFRIED) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gail Yvonne Kosowich at the age of 63. Gail was a beloved wife, mother, and sister. After a brief and courageous battle with cancer Gail passed away at Riverview Hospital with her family by her side. Gail is survived by her husband Gordon; daughter Lisa-Marie; son Sheldon; sisters, Bernice Lash, Agnes (Tony) Barchuk, Jean Coutts, and Brother Hillary Gottfried. Gail was a fun loving woman with a great sense of humor. Her favorite things were spending time with family and friends, enjoying her pool, shopping, and traveling. Mrs. K worked at Maple Leaf School (Kids Korner). The staff and children she cared for had a special place in her heart. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Gerard's Roman Catholic Church, 45 Foster Avenue, with Fr. Pierre officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Gail's Memory to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
